Info | This amazing sport of Hosta 'Edge of Night' is a clump that I couldn't take my eyes off in the garden of Minnesota's Hans Hansen. The heavily-cupped and corrugated dark green leaves with a wide creamy white border are turned upwards instead of laying horizontally, forming a 28" tall x 55" wide clump that resembles hands clapping; hence, the name. A mature clump of Hosta 'Applause' ranks right up with H. 'Praying Hands' in the unusual category. |
