| Info | 10" tall. Part Sun to Light Shade. Narrow leaves with dark green edges and creamy white center. Bright rosy red petioles. Lance shaped leaves with dark green margins streaking into creamy white centers. Red leaf petioles and scapes. Tall scapes with purple flowers. This Lachman introduction draws raves from anyone who has the ability to rave. The narrow dark green leaves with a wide white streak down the middle makes a spectacular small clump to 15" wide. In mid summer, the violet flowers open atop a red spotted scape to 28". It grows the best when planted in morning sun. Lance-shaped leaves have dark green margins with white centers; violet flowers atop rosy red petioles. Lance-shaped leaves are white with dark green edges. Leaf petioles and flower scapes are red. Flowers are purple. A hybrid from Bill and Eleanor Lachman. Lance-like leaves have white center and dark green magins that jet frequently into the clear white. The leaf stems or petioles show a clear reddish center. The name comes from the fall color of the seed pods which are cherry colored. The lance-shaped leaves are creamy white edged in dark green. The upright growth habit shows off the red leaf petioles and flower stems. A stunning plant! Purple flowers. |
