Info | From exciting hybridizer Alttara Scheer we have a second offering! This time it's the wonderful little confection she calls 'Cherry Tart'. Possessed of excellent red petioles the deep scarlet of ripe pie cherries, it also sports an upright form designed to show those legs off to their best advantage. A small but vigorous plant with leaves of a vibrant Spring yellow, 'Cherry Tart' has bright appeal for all hosta gardeners. Collectors will have to wrestle this one away from the hybridizers, though, for it also sets plenty of viable seed. Would be wonderful in the garden in an elevated feature position where it can catch the sun and light up like a firefly. |
