Color holds thru early summer and then takes on more of a muted hue. of montana type, this plant is behind all of the Tompkins variegated hostas, and is extremely prepotent as a breeder. Elongated leaves of heavy substance with very nice, undulating/wavy edging. There is nothing else quite like it. Light green with light yellow/blue/green blotching or spotting in spring.
Greens up in summer. Viridiscent.
No two leaves are alike. May be unstable.
Lavender flowers. Rapid grower.
