Info | Our new introduction is the first hosta to combine the traits of the late flowering, deeply veined rock hosta, H. kikutii with the blue of H. sieboldiana. This new hybrid, (H. 'Hirao 59' x H. 'Hadspen Blue') forms a stunning 3' wide rosette of deeply veined, powder blue leaves. In late summer (August and September), the clumps are topped with attractive 16" scapes of light lavender flowers. If you've been looking for a flat growing blue hosta... wait no longer! |
