Info | 2011 National Convention hosta in Marlborough, MA. Medium size gold of unknown OP probable sieboldiana parentage. White non fragrant flower bloom time early July. H. 'Mayflower Moon' was a chance seedling discovered in a bed of miniature hostas in the garden of Carol Brashear and Bill Meyer. It is a robust medium-sized plant with nicely rugose gold leaves, and was voted to be the convention gift plant by the New England Hosta Society. H. 'Mayflower Moon' also has the distinction of being a Blue Ribbon winner at First Look 8 in 2008. |
