Info30" tall. Light Shade.
Gold center and a green margin. Variegated. Round.
Slug resistant. Light lavender flowers.
Here is a new hosta that's going to have everyone talking. H. 'Midwest Magic' (possibly a sport of H. 'Sea Dream') has smooth round leaves of dark gold that lighten as the season progresses. The wide border of very dark green provides the perfect contrast. In early summer, the 30" wide clumps are topped with 30" scapes of light purple flowers.
A mutation of H. 'Zounds', a gold centered leaf with a deep green margin.
A sport of 'Zounds' from Q & Z Nursery. The heart-shaped leaves are gold with a green margin. White flowers.
Irregular green margined leaves has center which turns yellow. The dimpled affect of the leaves almost makes the yellow center irridescent. Leaves are very pointed. (Plant 45x20) Medium, wide gold centered leaves with green edge. Good substance. Pale lavendar flowers in July.
