Info | =CITRINE SUPREME (TM). PP16742 (4/7/2006). Outstanding sport of 'Paul's Glory' from Bob Solberg of Green Hill Farm, Chapel Hill, NC (2002 AHS registration); has all of the great characteristics of its mother plant, but improves on it with its bright gold center leaf color as it emerges from the soil in spring. 'Orange Marmalade' is a proprietary plant owned by Bob Solberg who has patented it.. This hosta is already a classic, and deservedly so. A sport of 'Paul's Glory', but with a much more dramatic distinction between the margin and the center colors. And it shows colors for the center you may not find in any other hosta. If you wear the right sunglasses, you might even say it's orange in early spring; this orange-gold later fades to a creamy white. |
