Bright yellow leaves turn to chartreuse with narrow, variable green margin. Lower petioles are crimson. Dark lavender flowers in August.
This marvelous but unknown introduction is a favorite of all visitors to the gardens, resembling a vigorous growing H. 'Sea Sprite'. The narrow golden leaves are surrounded by a contrasting dark green border. When the flowers emerge in early summer, the base of the petioles is a lovely red violet, leading to the purple flowers... an outstanding 18" wide clump!
