Info | H. 'Peek-a-boo Purple' first caught the eye of hosta enthusiasts during the 2010 AHS national convention held in the Twin Cities. This blue-green plant quickly forms a flared upright mound standing 14' high and spanning 37' across of wavy, lance-shaped leaves. Strong petioles hold foliage such that heavily saturated burgundy of the petiole is shown from all vantage points between the blue-green leaves. Matching heavily saturated scapes emerge in proportion to the clump to bring the purple above the foliage in mid-season. |
