Medium mound of rounded undulating gray green foliage with white wax on the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves. Lavender flowers in August. Purple petioles and bloom scapes. H. pycnophylla seedling. Good grower.
Here is a hosta for those that appreciate a truly great, but not a bright showy hosta.
H. 'Phantom' (a H. 'Riptide' seedling), boasts very thick and heavily rippled green leaves with an overall greyish cast. Both the petioles and scapes are a dusty purple. The 3' wide clump is topped with 30" tall scapes of light lavender flowers.
