Info'June' mutation with slightly elongated, intensily wavy leaves.
From Walters Gardens in Zeeland, Michigan comes one of Amy Bergeron's most amazing treasures. Amy is the person who runs the greenhouses there and has developed one of the best eye's for good hostas around. 'Ripple Effect' is a heckuva find and it comes just when we all thought the Benedict Award-winning 'June' had given us all that it had in the way of sports.
'Ripple Effect' is just about the coolest 'June' sport imaginable. The leaves have a wild twisting and curling that is just incredible! Add that form to the wonderful coloring of 'June', and we think you have the makings of one of the best hostas ever.
'Ripple Effect' will be big folks, mark our words. Very big.
We think it will send a ripple though the hosta world for sure.
