Info | Sold for $150 at the last AHS Convention Auction. It is a medium gold with a beautiful glaucous bloom. The overall effect is iridescent. Its color depends on its location. It is more gold in more light, and more blue in the shade. Nothing else like it. It is a cross between 'Birchwood Parky's Gold' and 'Love Pat'. Flowers are pale lavender. Seed is viable. I have been enamored with this one since it was a seedling It is a beautiful gold with a heavy glaucous bloom If there is one word to describe this one it is iridescent The name is based on a character by David Eddings whose costume must have been made from this hosta It is a cross between Birchwood Parky's Gold and Love Pat Sadi has very pale lavender flowers and often repeats bloom. |
