| Info | Hosta 'Trailblazer' (Zilis 99), medium to large, tight mound shaped plant with dark green centered leaves with a wide white edge. Good grower with lavender flowers. An improved wider white edged sport of H. 'Francee'. When 'Patriot' was introduced, we began scanning our stock of 'Francee' and found three plants with exceptionally wide, white margins. After evaluating these plants for a few years, one stood out as significantly different from 'Francee' and we began propagating it. In 1999 we registered this plant as 'Trailblazer'. |
