An early European hybrid seen in catalogues as early as 1866. Purple striped flowers.
One of the earliest cultivated Hostas in the West, cataloged in France as early as 1866. Long misspelled here and elsewhere as 'Vilmoriana'.
Small green wavy, heart-shaped leaves forming a low, 8" mound.
Useful as a ground cover.
