Classic large steel blue. Showy.
The grandfather of large blue hostas is a gem... thick, round corrugated blue leaves, developing eventually into a 4' wide clump. In spring, the clump is topped with white flowers with a lavender blush, sitting just above the foliage... a large clump is truly a sight to behold!
Heavy textured gray-green leaves with a glaucous bloom; white flowers. 50-90% shade.
This is the classic big blue hosta. Huge, rounded blue leaves, cupped and puckered, forming a mound 6' or more across at maturity. White flowers.
Many of today's blue hostas are sports or hybrids of this beautiful specimen sized plant. It forms a huge mound of heavily textured blue foliage up to 6' across. This plant has been around for a long time and you might find small variations among plants from different growers. White flowers.
Large blue-gray rounded & quilted leaves. A classic. One of the earlier blooming hostas (June). Plants can get much larger than the stated mound size. (Plant 40x30)
Heavily textured, large, blue-gray rounded leaves. Color is best in shade to light sun. White flowers on compact scapes. Leaves corrugated as they mature.
A long-time favorite with heavily textured, large gray-blue leaves. Very showy! White flowers.
Large when mature, gray-blue leaves, cupped for deep shade. Flowers near white.
