Info | Lanceolate green foliage with intense purple flowers held on reddish petioles; near black seed pods. To achieve a profusion of purple bloom and black pods, one should plant it in a setting with strong morning sun. In deeper shade, the color is deep green with a glossy finish and wider foliage. It makes a nice, dense clump and grows like a weed, but the more shade, the less bloom and the less color! |
