Info | This is a sport of 'Francee' that is very similar to 'Patriot' and 'Minuteman'. The variegation is slightly cream colored and the leaf center is darker green. In all other respects it appears identical. The difference in color is more apparent in a larger plant. I don't know if the world needs another 'Patriot' variant, and I had planned to keep this one to myself, but people who have seen it at the nursery have asked for it. The difference between 'Admiral Halsey' and 'Patriot' is apparently much more obvious in northern states than in warmer areas. People who have seen the plant in Wisconsin and Minnesota have called and asked for it, but in states with hot summers, you may not see any difference between it and 'Patriot'. |
