='Chicago Frances'.
Similar to H. 'Frances Williams' but plant is more vigorous and will become somewhat larger, also doesn't seem to "burn" like 'FW' in our climate; lavender flowers.
Larger, more vigorous form of 'Frances Williams', with the same blue leaf with a wide yellow margin. It is difficult, if not impossible to distinguish between this plant and 'Frances Williams' until the plants are a few years old. To insure that we have the correct form, we obtained our initial stock from Alex Summers of Honeysong Farm, who has done more than anyone else we know of to catalog its distinguishing characteristics. White flowers.
50-75% shade.
Nicely textured blue-green leaves are set off with wide yellow margins.
Near-white flowers.
