This is a new variegated sport of H. 'Fragrant Blue'... smooth heart-shaped leaves are a medium blue-green and framed by a variable yellow border that is narrow on some leaves and wider on others. The plant has proven to be a vigorous grower and blooms with near white flowers. Although the parent is said to be fragrant we have never been able to confirm this claim and do not believe H. 'Blue Flame' to be fragrant either.
