Info | A 2004 seedling of my streaked 'Lime Piecrust', ('Lena'), this medium/large hosta has a nice compact clump, excellent substance, and displays some corrugation on the rounded leaves. The blue stays well into the summer, and the hosta is vigorous and always looks good. It's fertile, producing numerous seed pods every year. It was named for one of my brothers, who is an Allis Chalmers tractor collector, and loves Blue Grass music. He used that name as an alias on a forum, and I borrowed it to name a hosta for him. It's an OP seedling out of my unregistered streaked Lime Piecrust (garden name Lena). |
