InfoSyn. H. tokudama 'Blue Shadows'.
14" tall. Light Shade.
An absolutely gorgeous combination of blue, green and chartreuse. White flowers in June. H. 'Blue Shadows' is considered by many to be one of the most elegant hostas ever introduced! This slow growing sport of H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' makes a 2' wide clump of extremely thick rounded leaves. Each leaf features dark blue shadows swirled around a muted yellow center. In late spring, the clumps are topped with pure white flowers on short 15" spikes. A mature specimen is truly breathtaking!
A sport of H. 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' with more bluish tones and less gold, excellent slug resistance; near white flowers.
Heavily textured leaves are cupped and puckered, with irregular blue-green margins and gold centers.
Blue leaf margins surround shades of chartreuse to soft green shadings in the centers. A wonderful combination! Near-white flowers.
