A white picta form of H. 'Blue Mammoth'. Similar in appearance as H. 'Guardian Angel', but holds the white center much later in summer. Eventually it turns greenish white. Bud is Wiser is fairly vigorous due to late summer green center. The plant was named after Hosta grower Henry (Bud) Martin who several years ago gave me a blue hosta which we called Bud's Blue. Bud's Blue turned out to be 'Blue Mammoth'.
