Upright habit in the A.M. changing to mound-like in P.M.
Profusion of flowers on 5 feet scapes.
It's a big, robust plant that can be 6 ft. across. According to the registration, it has the unusual characteristic of being quite upright in the morning then slowly relaxing down into a mounded shape as the day wears on. The following morning it is standing up again to face the new day.
Foliage mound gets 72" wide x 36" tall; mound like; upright in the morning and mound-like in afternoon; fast growing. Leaves are 13" long x 8" wide; 14 pair of veins; medium green leaves with a slightly rippled margin; petiole is light green with dark green edges; leaves are slightly shiny on top and underneath; lightly cupped and corrugated; broadly ovate. Bloom scapes are 40-56" in height. Near white flowers are 2-2.5" and tubular in mid July.
