Info | 24" tall. Part Sun to Light Shade. Visitors to the 1991 Hosta Convention in Raleigh were amazed at this seedling in the garden of Tony Sears of Apex (the guy with the 2 mile railroad track in his garden). While it's taken a while to get this hosta propagated, the wait was well worth it. This giant golden hosta makes a stunning clump to 6' wide and 2' tall. The thick golden foliage is incredibly ruffled, making a statement from quite a distance. In summer, the clumps are topped with 3' scapes of near white flowers. Forms a clump up to 6' across with beautifully ruffled, nicely veined, greenish yellow leaves, broadly ovate. Pale lavender flowers. |
