Info | I am always attracted to cupped and puckered hostas and I especially like little ones. This little beauty makes a tight clump of bright gold leaves that are held upward toward the sun. A seedling of Doug Beilstein, it is a great plant for hybridizing. This golden leafed gal will stand out in your garden like a solo act. Rounded leaves are nicely cupped, moderately corrugated, and of excellent substance. The gold foliage is clothed with a thick layer of wax in the spring that gives the plant a soft, sea-green color. In the summer the foliage takes on tones of brassy-gold after the wax is gone. |
