Wide, heart shaped, deep green leaves with nice creamy white edges. Corrugated. White flowers. Creamy white edge on dark green foliage. Pyramidal habit. Heavily corrugated. Pale lavender flowers in late June.
Excellent blue-green with clean white margins.
Specimen type.
Medium green creamy-margined leaves with heavy substance; an outstanding plant with lavender flowers.
Known for it's Christmas Tree effect on the flower stalks that shows up occasionally and for the plants pyramidal habit. The soft lavender flowers are the lights and the creamy-white edge is the dusting of snow on the dark forest green center. Heavily corrugated foliage holds water droplets like pearls. (Plant 36x20)
Named for the vestigial leaves on its flower scapes which are supposed to produce a 'Christmas tree' effect. Frankly, I have not seen the plant produce this effect.
