| Info | 5" high mounding plant with intensely blue-green streaked with greenish-yellow, changing to yellow streaks. World-class hosta collector Dave Chopko told us of the day he found 'Flash Dance' in a batch of 'Pacific Blue Edger'. He was at Sunny Border Nursery talking to owner Pierre Bennerup one day when he looked down and spotted a streaked one right next to him in the batch of normal ones. He picked it up and handed it to Pierre, who tried to TC it with poor results. Only a few were successfully produced. The name was given to it by Alex Malloy. This is a good one for producing small streaked seedlings that can be nicely blue. |
