Info | We haven't taken exact measurements but estimate it to be about 18" tall and it will multiply into a beautiful wide clump in short order. In the photo it grows next to Stirfry to the right and below it is a row of various tiaras, so you can get an idea of size and scale. This particular selection has great movement in its wavy edged leaves and also has nice substance. The leaves grow in a somewhat upward fashion because of the thickness of the leaf and the ruffled edges on a small area leaf size also keep it from folding over or cascading as a larger leaf might do. It has been growing in that spot for approximately 10 years so you are looking at a fully mature clump. In spring it has a fair amount of wax, and a slight steely blue cast to it, but gradually turns to deep green in full sun, where we have it sighted. |
