Info | = 'Hirao #59'. 12" tall. Part Sun to Light Shade. H. 'Hirao Splendor' has long been one of our favorite hostas...yes, I know it's green! The deeply veined pointed leaves form an 18" wide arching clump that's topped in very late summer with sturdy, but arching spires of blue lavender flowers on 21" stems... great in leaf... spectacular in flower! Wavy bright green leaves and dense clusters of lavender flowers. Formerly 'Hirao #59'. Long lance-shaped green leaves with a glossy appearance and lovely lavender flowers. Formerly 'Hirao 59', this one has narrow, glossy green leaves. A good edging plant. Narrow dark green leaves are very distinct with a glossy appearance. Lovely lavender flowers. |
