Info | When Mildred gave up her Needham, Mass. garden to live near her son Charlie, she gave some plants to her friend Ken Ziarek so that he could donate them in her name to various fundraising efforts. This special plant is one of those. It's called 'Hold the Phone', and it is medium to medium large in size. It sported in her garden from a green seedling she liked and it's shiny on both sides of the leaf. The margins are wide and even and overall it is a great-looking plant. Those who know Mildred will understand the name. One of her favorite sayings is "Now just a minute, just hold the phone!". |
