Info | ='Tokudama Kara'. A yellow-margined 'Tokudama', much sought-after. Beautiful 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis' derivative. Vigorous. Charming. Striking. 'Kara' resembles 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis' (possibly more vigorous) but is larger and has rounder leaves. Sometimes labelled 'Kara G', the letter "G" stands for Giboshi (Japanese for Hosta) and should be removed [HL]. Apparently a strong, more vigorous hosta than H. 'Tokudama Flavocircinalis'. It is similar in every way, except the plant seems to grow larger. Stock from Soules, apparently it came from Japan. An exceptional hosta! |
