Info | Grown from "collected" seed supplied by Kenji Watanabe (Gotemba Nursery) and labled 'seboldi Naugoku Hort.'. Here is a prize that really shines. shown in October, when it blooms. This new hosta makes a real "end of season" show. Here I grow them in quite a bit of sun. Expect 30" in spread. Leaves are ovate and dark green with a "frosted" overlay. Backs intensily white with lavender petioles. Heavy blooming with purple blooms having a light stripe in each petal. |
