Info | Hosta 'Lakeside Cogwheel' is low growing and has a spreading habit. Just looking at its picture tells you why Roy (who loves all tools) named it cogwheel. The broad pointed blue-green leaves of this plant are edged in gold. This small to medium-sized plant increases rapidly and has proven trouble free. It is a 1995 introduction with moderate growth. The parentage is unknown. The leaves are broadly ovate with a cordate base. It sets viable seeds [MC]. Small-medium. Heart shaped blue-green leaves are enhanced by a creamy white margin. This is a low growing but spreading hosta. |
