Info | We saw this plant at First Look last summer and it was a Blue Ribbon winner there. It's a pretty, small plant that looks like it grows well. We do know that it's a 'Galaxy' seedling from a cross, but that's about it, other than that we think the parents weren't married. A stable sport of a streaked 'Galaxy' hybrid. Small pointed, lanceolate dark green leaves with a creamy yellow to white center. Forms a low mound about a foot across. Offered for the first time in 2008. This is a great plant for small gardens, with good substance, great color contrast that holds through the summer. It multiplies rapidly and forms a small, tight mound. |
