Info='Fortunei Mary Marie Ann'.
10" tall. Part Sun to Light Shade.
Needs some strong sun to develop the attractive colouring.
Found in a row of H. 'Aoki'.
Yellow green leaves with ½" band next to the penciled white margin. Light green markings in center of heart shaped leaves. Twisted, pleated leaves. Lavender flowers.
This obscure little hosta has also been one of my favorites, and I don't understand why it isn't better known. Each 2' wide clump has dark green leaves with a well defined creamy center. Early in the season, the leaves show a cute little twist and often a light green streak in between the dark green border and the center. In hot weather, the intensity of the center color fades to green (viridescence) and the leaf surface flattens. The clumps are topped with 18" scapes of lavender flowers in mid summer.
Ruffled & wavy leaves have a blue-green border & white center; lav. flwrs.
Long, wavy-edged leaves with white centers and green margins. Centers turn to light green in summer. Lavender flowers.
