| Info | A gold-centered, changing to white-centered form of H. 'Big Daddy'. The coloration is very good, but due to the 'Big Daddy' heritage, it is very slow growing. Plant is somewhat smaller that the parent. Came from 'Big Daddy streak'. Hosta 'Papa' is the gold centered sport of H. 'Big Daddy Streak'. Has a good blue green margin so growth should be good. An attractive blend of colors. A gold centered sport of H. 'Big Daddy' (the stable form of 'Big Daddy Streak'). Gold color holds well into the season, finally fading to a cream color. The variegation stands out well from the dark blue green edge. Slow growing (so is the parent) to a medium sized plant. |
