Info | We first discovered this sport of H. 'Blue Umbrellas' in 1999 and after years of trials, it just keeps getting better. In side by side trials with H. 'Singing in the Rain', H. 'Parasol' has more blue in the foliage and the edge is both wider and more cream than yellow. The 2' tall x 5' wide clumps are adorned with large metallic blue-green leaves, each bordered in creamy yellow. We find all of the H. 'Blue Umbrellas' sports to grow much larger in colder climates. The clumps are topped with 32" scapes of lavender flowers in early summer. |
