| Info | ='Peedee Goldflash'. 10" tall. Light Shade. Bright yellow leaves turn to chartreuse with narrow, variable green margin. Lower petioles are crimson. Dark lavender flowers in August. This marvelous but unknown introduction is a favorite of all visitors to the gardens, resembling a vigorous growing H. 'Sea Sprite'. The narrow golden leaves are surrounded by a contrasting dark green border. When the flowers emerge in early summer, the base of the petioles is a lovely red violet, leading to the purple flowers... an outstanding 18" wide clump! A very small, variegated hosta, with lanceolate leaves, about 1" wide and 4" long, gold centered, with green margins. Purple flowers on red petioles. Medium size, bright yellow leaves turn to chartreuse, narrow green borders. Intense lavendar flowers. Spoon-shaped crinkled pale golden leaves, green rims, deep lilac bells, red petioles. |
