Info | Light green/creamy margin. Wide, pointed chartreuse leaves with a nice creamy border. Lavender flowers. Light yellow streaks in light green, sibling of H. 'Sea Sunrise' but plant is larger. Very crisp chartreuse leaves that are wide and pointed and are framed with a creamy- white border. Lavender flowers. Not many of Mildred Seaver's introductions were named without her trademark 'SEA' prefix. This is one of those rare ones. This is 'Richmond'. Richmond is Mildred's maiden name. This plant was dug from Mildred's own garden and was offered at a New England Hosta Society meeting in 1996. I was the lucky bidder on this one and now you have that same opportunity! This is OS from the master's hand. Son Charlie believes that this plant is connected to Mildred's H.'Crayons', a streaked breeder with unique coloration. Donated in Mildred's honor. |
