Certainly up there as one of my favorites. Has already given me several wonderful sports. A golden wavy edge on a dark green leaf. Has been reproduced by Walters Garden and has recently entered the market. A stand out in any garden.
Hosta 'Seducer' is an amazing Stuart Asch hybrid that forms a 2' tall x 3' wide clump of large green leaves, each edged with a wide-ruffled band of gold. Between the gold and the green is a small wiggly white line (like you see driving home when you shouldn't be on the road) that intensifies with summer heat. The clumps are topped with 40" spikes of lavender flowers in late summer. Reportedly this is a H. 'Dorothy Benedict' selfed, but it is not physically possible to obtain this plant from that cross.
