It's a rambunctious plant that looks like the wind is always blowing. Here's Alttara's own description of it: "'Totally Twisted' is a small, very vigorous, soft pale bloomy green pycnophilla hybrid with white backs, red petioles, and rippled leaf edges. The leaves tend to turn upwards from the midpoint, giving a unique riotous upright mound shape and making it easy to show off the red petioles. The tips of the leaves turn and twist, quite commonly twisting 180 degrees, so that the underside of the leaf is facing upwards."
A fast growing riot of long, light, soft green leaves, white backed, red petioles, un-tamed and twisted. Many leaves turn a complete twist on the edges, nicely showing off the white undersides, and turn up from the midpoint to show off the red legs. As the season grows on, the first flush of leaves can (with the right exposure) develop yellow flecks and speckles. This trait can be passed on to offspring. Tolerates sun well. Fertile and has reliably sent up a second set of scapes in the originator’s garden.
