Info | The plant in the attached picture from the Lietzow garden was one of the more interesting (didn't say "attractive") plants I saw on this convention trip. Greg Johnson also had a few divisions of it and he had it marked as being called informally 'Ugly'. I'm not sure the picture truly captures its unusual coloring. It's from Russ O'Harra, though I'm not sure Russ would admit parentage on this one. Without a doubt, it was one of the strangest hostas I have ever seen. [BM] |
