Info | From Uniquely Hostas proprietor Marlene Rosenberg, comes a really big (and we do mean BIG!) plant that was coveted by all who saw the original clump. It began its life in the seedling beds of the giant of hosta hybridizers Jeff Miller. It grew and it grew and it grew some more, finally becoming a truly massive clump of nearly ten feet in diameter. Everyone who saw it on visiting the spectacular gardens at Land of the Giants asked about it and hoped for a piece. Jeff would have had a big seller had he kept it, but his friend Marlene was truly smitten by it. Jeff always was a firm believer in paying it forward in life, and Marlene took it home - the whole plant - presumably in a big truck! Marlene named the behemoth after Jeff's favorite saying and offered it for the first time this year. She doesn't have any more for sale so this is the last one available. Leaves are a big round 16"x15", and color is similar to Millennium, a deep blue green. Make sure you have a lot of room, because this one could fill a garden by itself! |
