InfoLeaves are round, puckered and a lovely powdery blue.
One of Cynthia Tompkins favorites, which she named "Elegantissima".
An invalid name, it was registered by Chet as 'Versailles Blue'.
Cynthia felt that this was the bluest of her large hostas. Forming a medium-large clump, 'Versailles Blue' does, indeed, have strong blue color with a nice, silvery patina, nice, mounded effect and very rugose leaves.
Strong in its background are Cynthia's 'English Sieboldiana' crosses, as well as 'Old Gold Edge'. A true collector's item of great beauty.
