The blue-green leaves on this beauty are large, rather rounded, glossy and have great substance; the clump makes a great specimen and.....beautiful FRAGRANT white flowers.
This new introduction from Gil Jones breeding program is a hosta breakthrough. The combination of H. sieboldiana 'Northern Halo' x H. plantaginea cross is a difficult match to make because of the distant relation of the two parents. The result was a wonderful blue-green H. sieboldiana-like leaf on a vigorously growing 54" wide clump. In early summer, the clumps are topped with 33" scapes of pure white fragrant flowers...what a hosta!
