Info | A reverse of H. 'Dust Devil', where the variegation looks "painted on". An unusual sport of H. 'Whirlwind', similar to H. 'Eternal Flame', but this Hosta has a soft-white center that fades slightly with the season. In fact the center starts green, then turns white/cream, and finally fades. The unique trait of 'Wayward Wind' is the center is framed by a light-green, "flame" design that looks as if painted on the leaf. The reverse of H. 'Dust Devil' in appearance, the parent is H. 'Whirlwind streak'. |
