Blue green heart shaped/round leaves with pale lime irregular margin. Bell shaped pale lavender flowers in early summer. Very vigorous. Fertile.
Margin, yellow intensifying to 1½ inch brilliant gold band.
This vigorous and easy to grow 1987 release from Dr. Chuck Purtymun is a real prize for hosta lovers. This sport of H. 'August Moon' has round corrugated blue green leaves with a wide lime gold margin. In early summer, the 3' wide clumps are topped with near white flowers...truly spectacular!
