InfoLeaves are dark green with irregular pure white margins with green speckling throughout the margin.
Its a reverse sport of 'Pathfinder'...it has nice thick leaves that are pretty flat with the dark green center and wide white edge...edge has green speckles (grass clippings as Mr Pollock would say). It doesn't seem to grow as large as its parent which has always seemed strange to us and so far hasn't gotten much bigger than 12". Have neglected to get a good photo of it but will try by catalog time. Hosta 'Independence' comes from Walters and is a reverse of 'Revolution'...at first we thought they were too similar but 'Independence' seems to be a bigger plant and has a quite different look--we've only had stock of it a couple months so we're watching it to see if they do mature in a similar way. We had already put 'Olympic Glacier' into production before we knew about 'Independence' so the commitment was made more than a year ago.
