This new introduction from the wild guys at Walden West is truly superb! This sport of H. 'Abiqua Recluse' (H. 'White Vision' x 'Sum and Substance') makes a 3' wide clump of glossy bright gold foliage, surrounded by a wide dark blue green border. This fast grower is topped in early summer with 2' scapes of light lavender flowers.

Large, gold leaves in a dark green margin;moderate corrugation, good substance. Pale lavendar flowers late June and July. Excellent specimen plant.
A sport of 'Abiqua Recluse' this plant was formerly known as 'Abiqua Paradigm'. The leaves are chartreuse in the spring, turning gold with warmer weather, with a blue-green margin.
