| Info | ='Abiqua Paradigm'. Hosta of the Year for 2007 (HOTY). Alex J. Summers Distinguished Merit Award winner 2010. 20" tall. Light Shade. A large, beautiful gold, blue margins. One of our picks for the hall of fame. This new introduction from the wild guys at Walden West is truly superb! This sport of H. 'Abiqua Recluse' (H. 'White Vision' x 'Sum and Substance') makes a 3' wide clump of glossy bright gold foliage, surrounded by a wide dark blue green border. This fast grower is topped in early summer with 2' scapes of light lavender flowers. A sport of H. 'Abiqua Recluse' and has gold leaves w/blue-green margin. The variegation intensifies as the season progresses and the substance is super. Lavender flowers Formerly known as 'Abiqua Paradigm', this 'Abiqua Recluse' sport has beautiful gold leaves edged in blue-green. Large, gold leaves in a dark green margin;moderate corrugation, good substance. Pale lavendar flowers late June and July. Excellent specimen plant. A sport of 'Abiqua Recluse' this plant was formerly known as 'Abiqua Paradigm'. The leaves are chartreuse in the spring, turning gold with warmer weather, with a blue-green margin. |
